Dr. Rothfeld graduated from Jefferson Medical College and completed his cardiovascular fellowship at New York
Medical College.  He served in the USNR as a director of CCU in San Diego.  He also served as Director of Pediatric Cardiology at Newark Beth Israel as well as Director of the Cardiac Non-Invasive Laboratory at Newark Beth Israel.  Dr. Rothfeld was co-director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Newark Beth Israel and the YMCA of New Jersey. He was also an assistant professor at UMDNJ.

Dr. Rothfeld is an avid art collector.
